Student Leader of the Month ALL STAR BEST OF THE ARBUCKLES 2020 KAILEE LATHUM Springer High School Springer High School Senior Kailee Lathum is a Student Leader of the Month for April. When nominating Kailee, school faculty had this to say: Kailee displays a maturity that sets her apart from her peers. She is kind to all and eager to help. In spite of those gentle characteristics, she is aggressive on the court and in the classroom. She has an internal desire to succeed in that all she pursues. I have no doubt that Kailee has the potential to do great things in life. Kailee stands up for what she believes in and does not waiver. She leads among her peers and presents herself as a role model to younger students. There are many instances of her leadership throughout the district. Kailee has volunteered with a community service project at Sunshine Industries. She also holds down a part-time job. Kailee displays leadership through her role as team captain and as a role model for her peers. She sets a high standard for herself and encourages others to rise to those Student Leader of the Month Kailee Lathum standards as well. A few notable honors and awards include: Student of the Month, Student of the Year, Citizenship Award, Page for the State Senate, A+ Athlete, Team Captain and Music Ensemble State Award. Kailee is involved with basketball, music, Student Council, Academic Team, Speech and Debate, and Art Club. She is the daughter of Jeremy and Kristina Lathum.
